Carla Higgins
Ms. Higgins has worked with Institutional and Corporate Clients over the last twenty years assisting them with property performance assessments, operational audits, project marketing/leasing, acquisition and disposition issues as well as strategic planning and portfolio analysis.
Ms. Higgins joined The Westover Group in July of 1998 as President/CEO. Prior to The Westover Group Ms. Higgins held the position of Vice President, Corporate Services for GE Capital Realty Group from 1994-1996. Prior to that she was with Prentiss Properties from 1984-1994. She spent the first five years in their Property Management/Leasing and Construction Management Division, involved in new development projects, then as Director of Marketing for the Property Management and Leasing Division. During that time she developed new institutional and corporate clients, which grew from 14 million square feet to 30 million square feet in managed assets.
Ms. Higgins also worked for Frito Lay from 1978-1983 in an executive position and was involved in the Grandma’s Cookies acquisition.
She currently holds a board position with the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women. Ms. Higgins will be the incoming 2006 President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women. She is currently on the Board of Directors with the Women’s Center of Fort Worth.
